1 Rear Window Wiper Arm Finish Cover
Tip:Β  Carefully release the four finish cover locking tabs securing the cover to the wiper arm.
2 Rear Wiper Arm Pivot Shaft Nut
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  11 N.m (97 lb in)

3 Rear Window Wiper Arm Assembly

Procedure

  1. Remove the rear window wiper blade assembly from the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Blade ReplacementΒ .
  2. Cycle the rear wiper motor completely back to the park position prior to installing the rear wiper arm.
  3. Align the rear wiper arm blade tip to the 2 mm black dot in the lower passenger side of the rear window.
  4. Wet cycle the rear wiper arm and re-check the blade tip alignment to the 2 mm black dot. If above or below the dot, repeat above steps.
