Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (LE5) or Drive Belt Replacement (LAT) .

  4. Disconnect the generator electrical connector (3).

  6. Reposition the generator terminal protective boot (3).
  7. Remove the generator terminal nut (2).
  8. Remove the engine harness terminal (1) from the generator.

  10. Remove the generator bolts.
  11. Remove the generator from the vehicle.
