2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the telltale assembly information center.
  2. Ignition ON, transmission in reverse. Verify a test lamp illuminates when connected between the supply voltage circuit terminal A and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the supply voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
  3. Ignition ON, transmission in reverse. Verify that a test lamp illuminates when connected between the supply voltage circuit terminal A and the following control circuit terminals while performing the scan tool LED test.
    • Telltale assembly indicator control circuit terminal 4
    • Telltale assembly indicator control circuit terminal 5
    • Telltale assembly indicator control circuit terminal 6
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate for one or more indicator control circuits, test the suspect indicator control circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If all the circuits test normal, replace the telltale assembly information center.
  4. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the object alarm module.
