Preliminary Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove the interior rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Disengage the rear compartment weatherstrip from the rear tail lamp area.
1 Tail Lamp Assembly Nut (Qty: 3)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:Β  6 N.m (53 lb in)

2 Tail Lamp Assembly
  1. Pull the top of the lamp assembly slightly outward.
  2. Pull the lamp rearward in order to disconnect the electrical connection and the two outer locator pins.
  3. Lift and slightly rotate the lamp assembly in order to clear the rear bumper fascia.
