Remove the power steering pump assembly. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L)Β  or Power Steering Pump Replacement (6.6L)Β  or Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.3L)Β .
1 Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
2 Power Steering Pump Fitting
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:Β  75 N.m (55 lb ft)

3 Power Steering Pump Fitting Seal
Procedure:Β 
Apply power steering fluid to the power steering pump fitting seal before installing.
