Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Removal Procedure
- Partially raise the window.
- Remove the upper trim panel extension. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper ExtensionΒ .
- Remove the manual door-lock lever.
- Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to Window Handle ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the door switch panel, if equipped. Refer to Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - DriverΒ and Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - PassengerΒ .
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front DoorΒ .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front DoorΒ .
- Remove the front bolt attachment from the window run channel.
- Loosen the 2 retaining bolts (2) from the window assembly.
- Remove the window glass (3) from the door by sliding the window glass out through the top.
IMPORTANT:
Do not remove the bolts.
