Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 6.0 USECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
- Remove the mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Manual or Mirror Replacement - Power .
- Remove the window glass. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the window module. Refer to Module Replacement - Front Power Window .
- Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Inside .
- Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Outside .
- Remove the door lock actuator. Refer to Lock Actuator Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the weatherstrip from the door. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door (Upper) or Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door (Door Opening) .
- Disconnect the door wire harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Door .
- Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
- Remove the bolts from the upper door hinge and the lower door hinge.
- With the aid of an assistant, lift the door up from the hinge pins, and remove the door from the vehicle.
