2006 Chevrolet Suburban K1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft link to the vehicle.
  2. IMPORTANT:
    • Do not tighten the nuts at this time.
    • Hold the shaft link studs with the hex tool to prevent damage to the link seal.
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft link lower retaining nut.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the stabilizer shaft link upper retaining nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 125 N.m (92 lb ft).

  6. Lower the vehicle.
