Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT:
Clean any existing corrosion from the battery terminal bolt flange and the battery cable end.
- Install the negative battery cable (2) to the battery.
- Tighten the negative battery cable terminal nut (1).
Tighten:Β Tighten the nut to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Close the negative battery cable cover until the two side retainers are engaged.
- Unsecure and position the ECM (w/bracket) to the battery hold down retainer. Align the side tabs and slide the bracket rearward.
- Install the 36 volt positive battery cable clip (4) to the ECM bracket.
- Install the generator battery control module cover. Refer to Generator Battery Control Module Cover Replacement .
- Close the hood.
- Insert the ignition key and turn the key to the ON position.
- Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
