- Remove the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
- Partially remove the front door sound insulator.
- Disconnect the outside handle rod from he door latch clamshell-style clip.
- Compress the pin on the handle pivot and remove the pivot and outside handle rod assembly.
- Disconnect the outside handle rod from the pivot and remove.
