2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1 .
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) from the connector.
- Remove the sensor bolt.
- Remove the sensor (2) from the vehicle.
CAUTION:
Do not strike or jolt the inflatable restraint front end sensor. Before applying power to the front end sensor make sure that it is securely fastened. Failure to observe the correct installation procedure could cause SIR deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs.
