Installation Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the accelerator pedal.
  2. Install the end bushings to the pivot shaft.
  3. Install the end bushing retaining clips.
  4. Install the accelerator cable through the slot in the accelerator pedal lever.

  5. Seat the retainer (3) in the accelerator pedal lever (2).
  6. Inspect for the following:
    • Complete throttle opening and closing with no binding
    • Proper carpet fit under the accelerator pedal
  7. Install the driver side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
