2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Installation Procedure

Important:Β The engine coolant heater sealing washer may be reused if not bent, scored or otherwise damaged.
- Apply a 3.175 mm (0.125 in) bead of sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the engine coolant heater sealing washer.
- Insert the engine coolant heater.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Tighten the engine coolant heater.
TightenΒ
Tighten the engine coolant heater to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
- Install the engine coolant heater cord to the engine coolant heater.
- Install the tire and wheel, if necessary. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEMΒ .
