2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power steering fluid cooler (1) to the vehicle.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the power steering fluid cooler bolts (2).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (4) to the power steering pump (1).
  6. Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (3) to the steering gear (2).
  7. Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
  8. Install the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) or Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC) .
  9. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System BleedingΒ .
