If any DTCs other than P2269 are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
IMPORTANT:
The WIF lamp should be illuminated with this DTC. If the WIF lamp is not illuminated, refer to Water-in-Fuel Lamp Always On
.
- Turn OFF the ignition and drain the fuel filter. Refer to Water-in-Fuel Draining .
- Turn ON the ignition and clear the DTC.
- Start and run the engine.
- If this DTC resets, test for fuel contamination. Refer to Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis .
