  1. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left (Suburban) or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left (Utility) in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the module.
  3. Remove the module fasteners (1).
  4. Remove the module (2).
