Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Removal Procedure
- Partially raise the window.
- Remove the manual door-lock lever.
- Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to Window Handle Replacement .
- Remove the door switch panel. Refer to Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Driver and Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Passenger .
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escalade EXT) .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- Loosen the window run channel bolt.
- Loosen the retaining bolts (3) from the window assembly.
- Remove the window glass (1) from the door by sliding the window glass out through the top.
IMPORTANT:
Do not remove the bolt.
