2006 Chevrolet Suburban C2500, 6.0 USECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Partially raise the window.
  2. Remove the manual door-lock lever.
  3. Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to Window Handle ReplacementΒ .
  4. Remove the door switch panel. Refer to Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - DriverΒ  and Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - PassengerΒ .
  5. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)Β  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escalade EXT)Β .
  6. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front DoorΒ .
  7. Loosen the window run channel bolt.
  8. IMPORTANT: Do not remove the bolt.
  9. Loosen the retaining bolts (3) from the window assembly.
  10. Remove the window glass (1) from the door by sliding the window glass out through the top.
