- Remove the drive side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Unseat the accelerator cable retainer (3) from the accelerator pedal lever (2).
- Remove the end bushing retaining clips.
- Remove the end bushings from the pivot shaft.
- Remove the accelerator pedal.
