2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Ensure to point the arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor away from the air cleaner box.
  1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the MAF/IAT sensor clamp at the air cleaner box.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the MAF/IAT sensor.

  6. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  7. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector (4).
