  1. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the endgate spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade) .

  • Disconnect the actuator rods.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
