- Ignition ON observe the scan tool Liftgate Handle Sw. parameter while using the liftgate handle switch, the parameter should change from Inactive to Active.
- If the value does not change, refer to Liftgate Handle Switch Malfunction below.
- Command the liftgate to release by using the liftgate handle switch, the liftgate latch assembly should release the liftgate.
- If the liftgate latch assembly does not release the liftgate, refer to Liftgate Latch Malfunction below.
