Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the power steering fluid cooler (1) to the vehicle.
- Install the power steering fluid cooler bolts (2).
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (4) to the power steering pump (1).
- Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (3) to the steering gear (2).
- Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
- Install the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) or Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC) or Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet HD) or Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC HD) .
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
