2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the EGR spacer (if equipped), and NEW EGR valve motor to the EGR valve.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the EGR valve motor screws.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the EGR valve motor.
  6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
  7. Cycle the ignition to relearn the new EGR valve motor pintle position.
