Preliminary Procedures

  1. Heat the windshield name decal using a J-25070:Β  gun or equivalent, 152 mm (6 in) from the glass surface.
  2. Apply the heat using a circular motion, for about 30 seconds.
  3. Remove the decal from the surface using a plastic, flat-bladed tool.
  4. Remove all adhesive from the surface using a 3Mβ„’ Scotch Brite molding adhesive remover disk, 3Mβ„’ P/N 07501, or equivalent.
  5. Clean the surface using 3Mβ„’ General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner, P/N 08984 or equivalent.
