2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Passive Transmitter Malfunction

  1. Place the keyless entry transmitter on the J 43241Β  and approach the vehicle. See Special ToolsΒ . Operate the release handle/touch pad. Verify the J 43241Β  sounds a tone. See Special ToolsΒ .
    • If the tone does not sound, replace the transmitter battery and retest with the J 43241Β  . See Special ToolsΒ . If the condition continues after battery replacement, replace the keyless entry transmitter.
  2. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the RCDLR.
