2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front shock absorber assembly in the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the front shock assembly upper mounting bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 112 N.m (83 lb ft).

  4. Raise the vehicle.

  6. Install the upper control arm to the steering knuckle.
  7. Install the upper control arm to steering knuckle retaining nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).
