2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer (1). NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in the Preface section
- Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer bolt (1). Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer nuts (1). Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Connect the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer electrical connector.
- Position the carpet to the floor.
- Install a scan tool.
- Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor.
- Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
