Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the pedestrian impact detection system. Refer to Pedestrian Impact Detection System Disabling and EnablingΒ .
  2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  3. Remove the front fascia absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (BRT) .
1 Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor Bolt (Qty: 5)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:Β  3 N.m (27 lb in)

Disconnect the electrical connector.
