- Raise and support vehicle. Remove filler plug located on rear of transfer case.
- Ensure fluid is level with bottom edge of filler plug hole.
- Fill transfer case through oil filler plug hole to specified capacity using recommended fluid. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS .
- Install the fill plug. Apply pipe sealant (P/N-12346004) to the threads on the fill plug. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
