Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
- Remove the head restraint and guides. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement (Cadillac) or Head Restraint Replacement (Non-Cadillac) or Head Restraint Replacement (Folding) .
- Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (W/O ULT) or Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (W/ULT) .
- Drill out the rivet holes on the bolster paddles (1).
- Detach the lumbar clip from the top of the seat frame.
- Remove the lumbar wire from the bottom of the seat frame.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors to the motors.
- Remove the power lumbar/bolster assembly from the seat.
