Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Removal Procedure

Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket in Seats.
Remove the rear seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear No. 1 (60/40 Split) or Seat Replacement - Rear No. 1 (Bucket) in Seats.
Remove the front center seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Center in Seats.
Remove the floor center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement (w/Console Mounting Bracket) or Console Replacement (w/o Console Mounting Bracket) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Remove the lower bracket from the I/P to the floor to allow carpet removal.
Remove the door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front and Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear .
Remove the hinge pillar trim panels from both sides. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Hinge Pillar .
Remove the garnish molding center pillar trim. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar .

Remove the carpet.
