2006 Chevrolet Suburban C1500, 5.3 ZSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm ReplacementΒ .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the 4 bolts and the reinforcement panel.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.

  7. Remove the 2 bolts from the wiper transmission assembly.
  8. Remove the wiper transmission assembly from the vehicle.

  10. Remove the drive link from the wiper motor crank arm with the J 39232Β  . See Special ToolsΒ .

  12. Remove the 2 bolts retaining the wiper motor.
  13. Remove the wiper motor from the wiper transmission assembly.
