Disabling Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Disabling Procedure
- Turn the steering wheel until the vehicle's wheels are pointing straight ahead.
- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Remove the key from the ignition.
- Remove the trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Access the inflatable restraint instrument panel (I/P) module connector through the glove box.
IMPORTANT:
Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones before disabling the SIR system.
