Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the instrument panel (I/P) trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the lower right knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the HVAC control module retaining screws.
- Push the HVAC control module forward. Lower the module through the storage compartment.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from HVAC control module.
