Connect Procedure

2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Connect Procedure
  1. Verify that all electrical components are off such as interior lights, the underhood lamp, etc.
  2. Clean any corrosion from the negative battery cable using a wire brush.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the cable bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  6. Install the rear battery cover (2) and nuts (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Reset the radio presets and theft codes.
