2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Mass Air Flow Sensor Wire

  3. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor wire (1) from the radiator support retainer clip.
  4. Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose assembly from the radiator support tabs.

  6. Remove the radiator support bolts.
  7. IMPORTANT: Note the position of the radiator support in relationship to the fan shroud. This must be reassembled correctly in order to retain the fan shroud.
