Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.
- Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor wire (1) from the radiator support retainer clip.
- Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose assembly from the radiator support tabs.
- Remove the radiator support bolts.
IMPORTANT:
Note the position of the radiator support in relationship to the fan shroud. This must be reassembled correctly in order to retain the fan shroud.
