Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper .
- Remove the gearshift knob. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement .
- Remove the gearshift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel ReplacementΒ .
- Fold the left and right seats forward.
- Remove the 2 upper console screws.
- Remove the screw retaining the console trim to the console base located by the shift bezel lever.
- Remove the parking brake handle bezel.
- Open the storage bin cover and remove the 2 screws.
- Using a clean glove, grab the forward edge of the console trim and pull upward to release the retaining tabs.
- Remove the console trim from the vehicle.
