2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

If replacing the knee bolster, Install the following components that were retained for transfer:
- Install the instrument panel compartment door switch and light assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment Lamp Replacement .
- Install the left and right power point sockets. Refer to Cigar Lighter Housing or 12 Volt Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement in Power Outlets.
If equipped, connect the cigar lighter in-line connector.

Connect the power point receptacle electrical connectors (1).
Connect the electrical connector to the bed cover (2).

Connect the I/P compartment light electrical connector (1).
Connect the PSIR module disable switch. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel (I/P) Module Disable Switch Replacement in SIR.
