2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the console upper trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console UpperΒ .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Screws Near Body Control Module

  3. Remove the upper 2 screws located near the body control module.
  4. Move the gearshift into the PARK position.
  5. Position the park brake lever to the full UP position.

  7. Hold the console and move forward of vehicle to release the front retaining tabs (1).

  9. Lift up on the rear of the console and remove from the vehicle.
