Removal Procedure

- Release the park brake if applied.
- Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Disable the park brake automatic adjuster. Refer to Disabling the Park Brake Cable Automatic AdjusterΒ .
- Remove the electrical connector for the park brake switch.
- Remove the mounting nuts for the park brake handle.
- Remove the park brake handle assembly.
- Remove the front park brake cable from the park brake handle.
- Remove the park brake handle from the vehicle.
