  1. Install the front park brake cable.
  2. Install the front park brake cable.

  4. Position the park brake handle on the mounting studs.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the mounting bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the mounting bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  8. Install the electrical connector for the park brake switch.
  9. Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Enabling the Park Brake Cable Automatic AdjusterΒ .
  10. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  11. Check operation of the park brake handle.
