Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the front park brake cable.
- Install the front park brake cable.
- Position the park brake handle on the mounting studs.
- Install the mounting bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the mounting bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the electrical connector for the park brake switch.
- Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Enabling the Park Brake Cable Automatic AdjusterΒ .
- Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Check operation of the park brake handle.
