  1. Release the park brake if applied.
  2. Remove the park brake lever assembly. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement .
  3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement in Propeller Shaft.

  6. Remove the left rear park brake cable from the front cable. Refer to Park Brake Cable Replacement - Left Rear .

  8. Remove the right rear park brake cable from the front cable. Refer to Park Brake Cable Replacement - Right Rear .

  10. Install J 37043  (1) on the front park brake cable. See Special Tools .

  12. Using the J 37043  , remove the front park brake cable from the retaining bracket. See Special Tools .
  13. Tape the equalizer in a parallel position to the brake cable.
  14. Lower the vehicle.

  16. Install J 37043  (1) on the front park brake cable. See Special Tools .
  17. Using the J 37043  (1), remove the front park brake cable. See Special Tools .

  19. Remove the park brake cable from the retaining bracket.

  21. Remove the floor seal (1), from the floor panel.
