Removal Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
- Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
- Remove the seat belt anchor bolt and remove the sets belt from the seat guide loop. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Seat Belts.
- Raise the seat to maximum height.
- Remove the seat mounting fastener covers.
- Remove the 3 front seat mounting nuts.
- Remove the front seat mounting bolt.
- Disconnect the electrical harness. Unclip the harness from the seat bracket.
- Disconnect the yellow SIR electrical connector.
- Disconnect the seat belt buckle electrical connector.
- Remove the seat from the vehicle.
- Place the seat on a clean, prepared surface.
