Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the seat to the vehicle.
- Connect the electrical harness. Clip the harness to the seat bracket.
- Connect the yellow SIR electrical connector.
- Connect the seat belt buckle electrical connector.
- Install the front seat mounting bolt. Do not tighten.
- Install the 3 front seat mounting nuts on the floor studs.
Tighten:Β
- Tighten the front seat mounting nuts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
- Tighten the front seat mounting bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
- Feed the seat belt through the seat guide loop and install the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Seat Belts.
- Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
- Install the seat mounting fastener covers.
