  1. Install the seat to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical harness. Clip the harness to the seat bracket.
  3. Connect the yellow SIR electrical connector.
  4. Connect the seat belt buckle electrical connector.
  5. Install the front seat mounting bolt. Do not tighten.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the 3 front seat mounting nuts on the floor studs.

    Tighten:Β 

    • Tighten the front seat mounting nuts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
    • Tighten the front seat mounting bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  8. Feed the seat belt through the seat guide loop and install the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Seat Belts.
  9. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
  10. Install the seat mounting fastener covers.
