2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the heater element electrical harness through the hole (3) in the pad.
  2. Install the adhesive-backed heater element (1) to the pad (2) by pressing in place.

  4. Install the cover (2) to the cushion (3) with hog rings (1).
  5. Install the cover and cushion to the seat back assembly.
  6. Install the seat back cover tabs around the inside of the head restraint support.
  7. Install the seat back panel. Refer to Seat Back Panel Replacement - FrontΒ .
  8. Install the left and right seat back cushion side bolster panels. Refer to Seat Back Cushion-Side Bolster Panel ReplacementΒ .

  10. Install the seat back cover retaining tabs (2) along each side of the seat back panel (1).
  11. Install the seat back cover retaining tabs (3) along the bottom of the seat back panel.

  13. Install the seat back cover tabs (1) around the upper seat back panel (2).
  14. Install the seat belt guide. Refer to Seat Belt Guide Replacement - FrontΒ .
  15. Install the seat back release handle. Refer to EZ Entry Seat Manual Release Knob ReplacementΒ .
  16. Install the chrome head restraint trim to the head rest. Refer to Chrome Head Restraint Trim ReplacementΒ .
  17. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat ReplacementΒ .
