Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the heater element electrical harness through the hole (3) in the pad.
- Install the adhesive-backed heater element (1) to the pad (2) by pressing in place.
- Install the cover (2) to the cushion (3) with hog rings (1).
- Install the cover and cushion to the seat back assembly.
- Install the seat back cover tabs around the inside of the head restraint support.
- Install the seat back panel. Refer to Seat Back Panel Replacement - FrontΒ .
- Install the left and right seat back cushion side bolster panels. Refer to Seat Back Cushion-Side Bolster Panel ReplacementΒ .
- Install the seat back cover retaining tabs (2) along each side of the seat back panel (1).
- Install the seat back cover retaining tabs (3) along the bottom of the seat back panel.
- Install the seat back cover tabs (1) around the upper seat back panel (2).
- Install the seat belt guide. Refer to Seat Belt Guide Replacement - FrontΒ .
- Install the seat back release handle. Refer to EZ Entry Seat Manual Release Knob ReplacementΒ .
- Install the chrome head restraint trim to the head rest. Refer to Chrome Head Restraint Trim ReplacementΒ .
- Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat ReplacementΒ .
