Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat ReplacementΒ .
  2. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - FrontΒ .
  3. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Seat Back Panel Replacement - FrontΒ .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lumbar motor.

  6. Detach the seat back frame wire (2) from the top of the lumbar (1).
  7. Detach the seat back frame wire from the bottom of the lumbar.

  9. Drill out and remove the 2 lumbar motor mounting rivets (1).
  10. Remove the lumbar assembly (2) from the seat.
