  1. Remove the upper instrument panel (I/P) trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the light sensor.
  3. Twist the light sensor in order to release it from the upper trim panel.
