Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure
- Connect the radio antenna coax cable.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Position the radio onto the I/P.NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.
Tighten: Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Remove the center I/P trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the left I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the right I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
