Up/Down Adjustment Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Up/Down Adjustment Procedure
- Cycle the folding top open.
- Place a protective covering over the interior of the vehicle and quarter panels.
- Remove the front headliner. Refer to Retractable Roof Headliner Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Mark the fasteners to the side rail for a starting reference point.
- Cycle the folding top closed.
- Loosen the folding top rear panel fasteners.
- Adjust the panel as necessary.
Tighten:Β Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Verify that the folding top rear panel is aligned properly.
- Repeat the adjustment procedure as necessary.
- Cycle the folding top open.
- Install the front headliner. Refer to Retractable Roof Headliner Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the protective covering.
- Inspect the folding top for proper operation. Refer to Power Folding Top Description and OperationΒ .
