- Insert the rear compartment lid latch release cable into the body opening.
- Install the rear compartment lid latch release cable onto the body.
- Install the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid .
- Connect the rear compartment lid latch release handle (1) to the lock cylinder latch plate assembly.
- Pull on the handle to inspect for proper operation.
- Install the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover. Refer to Lock Cylinder Latch Plate Cover Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid .
- Close the endgate.
- Close the rear compartment lid.
